ePeople Named to the Prestigious Business 2.0 Annual Business Software List
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA; January 8, 2003
ePeople, the market leader in collaborative CRM, today announced that it was featured on the third annual Business 2.0
'Essential Business Software Tool Kit', a definitive list of 53 companies and the technologies they produce that will make
business faster, smarter, more transparent and more productive. By being included in this prestigious list, ePeople joins
an elite group of software companies including IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Peoplesoft, BMC Software and TIBCO.
The editors of Business 2.0 created the list (in previous years called the 'Owner's Manual') which appears in the February
2003 issue, in conjunction with Meta Group, a Stamford, Connecticut-based information technology research and consulting
company.
Business 2.0 writes that the technologies selected "pry open once-closed information loops and allow executives to see through
layers of management to real-time data."
ePeople develops ePeople Teamwork, the leading collaborative support solution for organizations that support complex products.
ePeople enables customer support organization to improve customer satisfaction by continuously reducing resolution time and improving
the quality of responses to issues. It also reduces the total cost of support by enabling companies to formalize and streamline their
issue resolution process.
ePeople customers have experienced 70 percent reduction in average resolution time, 60 percent increase in support analyst productivity
and 55 percent reduction in incident costs.
"ePeople customer results validate the substantial benefits gained by companies who leverage collaborative customer support
technologies rather than traditional CRM," said Anthony Lye, CEO and president of ePeople. "It's quite an honor to be recognized by
Business 2.0 editors and Meta Group analysts as a company with a hot technology that is having a significant impact on business.
ePeople looks forward to continuing to take the lead on establishing collaborative support as the core technology foundation for
organizations that support complex products."
