Managed qualifications
Managed qualifications are a type of qualification that is specified by the ePeople Teamwork administrator. Managed
qualifications are assigned and typically represent attributes that management wishes to assign to a particular user.
For example, management would typically assign a user a qualification that represents the business organization they
are in such as database support, Java engineering, CRM product management.
Skills
Skills represent qualifications that a user attributes to themselves. Typically, skills indicate a specific area of
technical expertise or interest, for example, being able to program in Java.
Certifications
Certifications captures the users' technical certifications. The business can declare what certifications they are
interested in knowing about for users. Then the user can indicate if they have the certification or not. Certifications
can be configured so that they have to be validated before the user is deemed to have the certification.
Computed qualifications
Computed qualifications provide a powerful tool for implementing extremely complex dynamic contribution profiles to locate
the most relevant analyst. Computed qualifications are entered as SQL and can be evaluated periodically to compute arbitrarily
complex conditions. Examples of commonly used computed qualifications are rating, number of questions, and rollup of other
qualifications. Analyst relevance is based on up-to-minute profile information measured against configurable weighted factors.
